Part-Time Loan Collections Specialist
We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Loan Collections Specialist who can manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and support customers in resolving past-due balances while ensuring compliance with FTL Finance’s policies and federal/state regulations. This part-time role is key to maintaining healthy loan performance while delivering excellent service to our customers!

What You'll Do:
- Part-time schedule: 16hrs per week; Monday-Thursday; 8am-12pm OR 9am-1pm
- Contact customers via phone, email, and/or written correspondence to discuss delinquent accounts.
- Proactively manage delinquent accounts and engage with customers to resolve past-due balances through repayment plans, payment commitments, or other solutions.
- Follow FTL Finance’s collections strategy, policies, and regulatory compliance standards in all customer interactions.
- Utilize internal systems and skip-tracing tools to locate and contact customers.
- Accurately document all collection activities, customer communications, and agreements in the CRM or loan servicing platform.
- Collaborate with fellow collectors and cross-functional teams to achieve shared portfolio and performance goals.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving collection effectiveness, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall portfolio health.
What You'll Bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in collections, customer service, or administrative roles.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), and collection software; with skip-tracing tools a plus.
- Understanding of debt collection regulations and compliance requirements.
